Squirt shaving cream into three bags. Add a drop of red food coloring and a drop of blue food coloring into one bag. Seal with packing tape. Add a drop each of red and yellow food coloring to a second bag, and then seal. Add a drop each of blue and yellow food coloring to a third bag and seal. Put the bags out and observe the children as they squish and squeeze the bags. Encourage them to talk about what happens. Introduce vocabulary such as color names, squish, blend, squeeze, and so on.
