What's missing from Today's Kindergarten?

It is the first day of school. Students with new backpacks stream into the building. Some are excited as they finally join their brothers or sisters at the “big” school. Others are hesitant, as this is their first time in a school, and they are unfamiliar with the hallways or the location of their classroom. A kindergartener walks down the hall and slowly opens the door to the classroom that will be their home for the next 10 months. What do they see when they open that door?
