Instructions

1. If children are still learning to distinguish their left foot from their right foot,
try this song any time you have a few extra moments.
2. Place a removable colored dot sticker on each child's left shoe. Have children
line up and practice marching, starting with their left foot.
3. Sing any marching song, such as "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" or
"The Ants Go Marching."
4. March to outdoor playtime, around the gym, or between the desks in the
classroom.
