Instructions

What to do
1. Ahead of time, cut up the yarn
(use a variety of textures, colors,
and widths) in small pieces.
2. Help the children write their
names on the backs of the
paper plates.
3. Tell the children to turn the
plates over and encourage
them to create a design on
their plates with glue. You
might want to suggest that
they use glue dots and lines
rather than glue lakes and puddles.
4. Have the children place the
yarn scraps onto the wet glue.
5. Allow the decorated plates to dry.
