tagboard

scissors

black and white tissue paper

glue

light box or window with bright light

Instructions

1. Cut out a variety of bone shapes from tagboard for children to use as
templates.
2. Talk to the children about the bones inside our bodies. Show pictures, if
available.
3. Encourage the children to trace the bone templates on white tissue
paper and cut them out. Have them glue the bones on black tissue
paper.
4. Hold the pictures up to a light box or window. Talk about x-rays.
