Instructions
1. Purchase a clear storage box for each month of the school year. A good size is
about 12" high x 19" wide x 15" deep (WhatchamaBoxes or Long-Term File
Tote boxes).
2. Label each box with the name of the month.
3. Into each box, put all of the hands-on materials you plan to introduce during
that month.
4. Arrange all of your instructional materials such as manipulatives, file-folder
games, flannel board stories and activities, and so on by weekly themes you
plan to use during the school year.
5. This keeps all of your hands-on materials in one place, which makes locating
them each month easy.
6. If desired, you may list the contents of each box to make sure everything is
returned and ready for next year.
