Instructions
1. Write a sentence or two on a blackboard or chart before the children arrive.
Use this morning message to tell the children about an upcoming event,
class projects, or something about individual children.
2. Read the message out loud and then have the children read it with you.
3. To teach letter recognition, call on children to come and circle all the
instances of one letter that she sees. Choose a different letter each day.
