Instructions
1. Have the children use a black marker to draw the outline of a picture on their paper.
2. When they have finished their outline, have the children color it in with crayons.
3. Ask the children to turn their papers over so their pictures are facedown on newspaper.
4. Show the children how to dip their paper towel into a bowl of oil and rub it on the back of theirpictures.
5. When they have finished, have them hold their pictures up to the light. Explain that the oilmakes the design transparent.
6. Tape the papers on a window where light will filter through the children's designs.More to doCooking: Fry potato pancakes in oil.
