Instructions

Talk with the children about experiences they have had
eating lunch in restaurants. Ask the children what kinds of
foods they like to eat in restaurants.
2. Ask the children about the people they saw working in the
restaurants they have visited. Can they name the different
jobs of the people they saw there?
3. Recite the following poem with the children:
Serving Lunch by Laura Wynkoop
Let's serve up lots of yummy food,
Spaghetti, mac 'n' cheese,
Corn dogs, pizza, chicken strips
With corn and buttered peas,
Chili fries and quesadillas,
Burgers by the bunch,
Just tell us what you'd like to have,
And we will serve you lunch!
