And marches all the day.
At noon it stands right overhead;
At night it goes away.

3. The following songs are circus songs.
I'm a Little Circus Clown (by Deborah R. Gallagher)
(Tune: "I'm a Little Teapot")
I'm a little circus clown short and fat.
Here is my funny face and here is my hat.
I have a great big smile and a big red nose
And great big silly shoes covering my toes.
When you come to the circus
You'll have lots of fun
There's lions and bears
And elephants that weigh a ton.
Just come to the big top
And sit yourself right down
There'll be lots of laughter,
The best in the town.
We're Going to the Circus (by Deborah R. Gallagher)
(Tune: "Did You Ever see a Lassie?")
We're going to the circus,
The circus, the circus.
We're going to the circus, we'll have so much fun.
There are lions, and bears,
And clowns with bright hair.
We're going to the circus, we'll have so much fun.
We're going to the circus,
The circus, the circus.
We're going to the circus, we'll have so much fun.
There are horses and elephants
And clowns wearing funny pants
We're going to the circus, we'll have so much fun.
4. The following songs are food songs.
Popcorn (by Deborah R. Gallagher)
(Tune: "Frere Jacques")
Pop, pop, popping.
Pop, pop, popping.
Our popcorn, our popcorn.
Popping, popping, popcorn.
Popping, popping, popcorn.
Pop, pop, pop. Pop, pop, pop.
Vegetable Soup (adapted by Deborah R. Gallagher)
(Tune: "Farmer in the Dell")
We're going to make some soup,
We're going to make some soup.
Stir slow, around we go.
We're going to make some soup.
First we add the broth...
Now we add some carrots...
Next we add some celery...
(add any additional vegetables)
We're Gonna Make Some Pizza (by Deborah R. Gallagher)
(Tune: "Heigh-ho the Derry-O")
We're gonna make some pizza.
We're gonna make some pizza.
Heigh-ho the derry-o
We're gonna make some pizza.
First you take the bread,
Then you add the sauce,
Sprinkle on the cheese,
Put it in the oven.
Pizza is so yummy.
Pizza is so yummy.
Hi-ho the derry-o
Pizza tastes so good.
5. The following songs are "me, my friends, and my family" songs.
Friends Are Here (by Deborah R. Gallagher)
(Tune: "Jingle Bells")
Friends are here, friends are there,
Friends are everywhere.
Lots of laughter, songs, and play
All throughout the day.
Friends have fun in the sun
And even in the rain.
Friends love to play and share.
I Look in the Mirror (adapted by Deborah R. Gallagher)
(Tune: "I'm a Little Teapot")
I look in the mirror
And who is that I see?
A very special person
Who looks a lot like me.
Eyes so bright and shiny,
A smile that's pearly white.
It's great to be me,
What a lovely sight!
I Love My Family (by Deborah R. Gallagher)
(Tune: "I Love the Flowers")
I love my daddy.
I love my mommy, too.
I love my family,
My brother and my sister too.
We love to have some fun,
In the house and in the sun.
Boom-de-ah-dah, Boom-de-ah-dah,
Boom-de-ah-dah, Boom!
Boom-de-ah-dah, Boom-de-ah-dah,
Boom-de-ah-dah, Boom!
To show how much they care.
Manners Song (by Deborah R. Gallagher)
(Tune: "If You're Happy and You Know It")
If you want something, what do you say? Please!
If you want something, what do you say? Please!
If you want something given to you;
If you want something, what do you say? Please!
When you get something, what do you say? Thank you!
When you get something, what do you say? Thank you!
When you get something you asked someone for;
When you get something, what do you say? Thank you!
If someone's in your way, what do you say? Excuse me!
If someone's in your way, what do you say? Excuse me!
If someone's in your way and you need to get around;
If someone's in your way, what do you say? Excuse me!
6. The following songs are about safety.
Matches (by Deborah R. Gallagher)
(Tune: "Did You Ever See a Lassie?")
Have you ever played with matches?
With matches, with matches?
Have you ever played with matches?
I hope that you don't.
When you light a match
A fire could catch.
Have you ever played with matches?
I hope that you don't.
Have you ever played with matches?
With matches, with matches?
Have you ever played with matches?
I hope that you don't.
Playing with matches
Can turn things to ashes.
Have you ever played with matches?
I hope that you don't.
Safe Shopping (by Deborah R. Gallagher)
(Tune: "Skip to My Lou")
No one knows me at the store.
No one knows my address or name.
I only see strangers all around,
At the mall it's just the same.
So when shopping I follow this rule:
I stay close to my Mom and Dad.
I don't want to wander off
Staying safe makes me so glad!
Scissor Cutting (by Deborah R. Gallagher)
(Tune: "Open, Shut Them")
Open, shut them, open, shut them
Give a little snip.
Open, shut them, open, shut them
Make another clip.
Cut along the dotted lines
To cut out your design.
Use the scissors carefully,
And you'll do just fine.
Open, shut them, open, shut them
Give a little snip.
Open, shut them, open, shut them
Make another clip.
Walking Feet (by Deborah R. Gallagher)
(Tune: "Rock Around the Clock")
Walking feet, walking feet.
We must use our walking feet.
We got to walk, walk, walk, down the hall.
We got to walk, walk, walk, down the hall.
Walking feet, down the hall we go.

Winter's cold won't bother me,
I'm dressed warmly as can be!

On the ground, all around.
