large, blank calendarnames of the months, in large printcutout numerals (1 to 31) that will fit into the calendar spaces

Instructions

1. Staple the large calendar where the children can reach it.

2. Every day, invite the children to pick the correct numeral and put it in its correct space on the calendar.

3. Announce to the children, "Today is (day's date)."4. Teach the children the following rhyme:Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,Saturday, and let's begin again.Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,Saturday and that will be the end.Today is ________!
