Materials

plastic re-sealable bags

finger foods (such as raisins, cheerios, fish crackers, small pretzels, teddy

bear-shaped graham crackers, and so on)

Instructions

1. Place a variety of finger foods in plastic bags. Give one to each child at snack
time.
2. Ask the children to guess how many of each kind of food they have in their
bag.
3. After all the children have guessed, the children can open their bags and count
the items to see how close they were to their guess.
4. Invite the children to eat their snacks.
