Instructions

l Cut four large cloud shapes out of paper or poster board.
l Write the name of a different season on each cloud cutout.
What To Do
1. Read the children a book about clouds
(see suggestions to the left).
2. Talk with the children about how
there are clouds in every season. Ask
the children to describe the clouds
from different seasons. Do clouds in
the summertime make snow?
3. Show the children the large cloud
cutouts.
4. Provide the children with cotton balls and glue. Invite the children to
glue their cotton balls to the various clouds.
5. Ask the children to pick the current season's cloud and then hang it
from the ceiling. Change the cloud as the seasons pass.
Assessment
To assess the children's learning, consider
the following:
l Can the children identify the current
season?
l Do the children understand that clouds
are common in every season?
