Instructions

1. Help the children understand the concept of one month by introducing each new month with a song and short discussion of what themes and events they will experience in the classroom.

2. Make a class book with pages that can be changed as each month approaches. (Top-loading page protectors are great for this.)3. Bind the pages together between two covers.

4. Write "Classroom Themes" on the cover.

5. Help the children learn what comes next by displaying pictures illustrating each theme for the month.

6. On the last page, be sure to list each child who has a birthday during the month.
