Instructions

1. Make a set of cards (or print out a set from a computer) with riddles about
various nursery rhyme characters. For example, write, "I went to school, and
my lamb followed me. Who am I?" (Mary). Or, "We went to fetch water and fell
down the hill. Who are we?" (Jack and Jill).
2. Laminate the cards for durability, if desired.
3. Cut around the cards and place them in a suitable container.
4. When you are ready for group play, select one card and read it to the
children.
5. Ask the children to stand up if they know the answer, and then dismiss them
to the next activity.
