Have You Seen the Mother Hen?
(tune: "The Muffin Man")
Oh, have you seen a mother hen,
A mother hen, a mother hen?
Oh, have you seen a mother hen?
She lives down on the farm.
Oh, have you seen her baby chicks,
Her baby chicks, her baby chicks?
have you seen her baby chicks?
They hatch from the eggs.
Oh, have you ever gathered eggs,
Gathered eggs, gathered eggs?
Oh, have you ever gathered eggs
From the hen house nests?
Oh, have you ever cracked an egg,
Cracked an egg, cracked an egg?
Oh, have you ever cracked an egg
When helping someone bake?
Oh, have you ever eaten eggs,
Eaten eggs, eaten eggs?
Oh, have you ever eaten eggs,
For breakfast in the morning?
