Materials

Small glass containers

Candles, any scent and color (If desired, match them to the season. For example,

use black and orange pumpkin-scented candles for Halloween.)

Wax paper

Instructions

1. Cut out leaves and a tree trunk from
brown and green construction paper.
Tape the cutouts to a coat rack to
create a tree (see illustration).
2. Place the coat rack by the door in
your room.
3. Each day as the children arrive, they
can hang their lunch bags on the
"lunchbox tree."
