Instructions

1. Before children arrive, make a tape using different voices to make it seem
like two puppets are talking to each other. Have the puppets explain class
rules and consequences. (Keep the list of rules to five or six so the children
can remember them.)
2. After children arrive, play the tape and make the puppets "talk."
3. The next day, play a different tape reminding the children what the rules are.
Have the puppets ask the children to repeat the rules.
4. Continue until you feel that the children have learned the rules from the
puppets.
5. Send a note home to parents explaining the puppets and the class rules.
6. Bring out the puppets to talk whenever there is a special event or just to
"talk" to the children.
