Instructions

1. Write each child's name on a separate index card.
2. Write the words "My name has a ___ in it" on a sentence or strip of paper and
put at the top of the pocket chart. Insert whatever letter the children are
learning in the blank space.
3. When lining up or preparing to wash hands, call each child's name and hand
him his name card. Have them put their name card in the pocket chart if
their name has that letter in it.
4. Find a fun place for children to put their name cards if their name doesn't
have the selected letter in it.
