Instructions

1. Turn the shoebox upside down and place a familiar item, such as a
stuffed monkey, underneath the box as the child watches.
2. Ask, "Where did the monkey go? Can you find it?"
3. If the child needs help, tap on the box, peak underneath, or sing the
following song to the tune of "Frere Jacques."
Where's the monkey? Where's the monkey?
Can you find it? Can you find it?
Look under the box. Look under the box.
There it is. There it is.
