Instructions

1. Cut out a heavy-duty tree from foam board or wood.
2. Cut out apples from construction paper and write the alphabet or children's
names on each apple. Laminate for durability.
3. Attach Velcro to the back of each apple and to the tree in random spots.
4. Use the apples for recognition activities. When a child recognizes his name,
he may place the apple on the tree and then pick an area to play in for free
play.
5. Or use alphabet letters and have the children pick a letter and find an object
in the classroom that starts with that letter.
