1. Sing this traditional song while transitioning from indoors to outdoors, or from outdoors to indoors.

2. Encourage the children to pretend to be a train.

Little red caboose, chug, chug, chug, (make chugging motion)
Little red caboose, chug, chug, chug,
Little red caboose behind the train, train, train. (make motion with thumb in air motioning back)
Smokestack on its back, back, back, (pat back)
Hurrying down the track, track, track,
Little red caboose behind the train.
Toot, toot! (make a horn motion)
