Materials
- duffle or any kind of bag
- small toys (small Etch-a-Sketches, magic boards, jacks, Legos, tops, Slinkies,
- tic-tac-toe sets, Colorform sets, small travel games, and so on)
What to do
1. Fill a small bag with a variety of toys.
2. Put this bag out only during transitions times periodically throughout the year.
3. Make several bags with different themes, such as a puzzle bag, a book bag, a felt board bag, and a science bag.

Instructions
1. When it is time to clean up, begin singing this song to the tune of "Skip to
My Lou" and encourage the children to join in. Everyone can sing together as
they work together putting away materials.

And put them in the tub together.
2. Add additional verses as appropriate (pick up carpet squares, clean up snack,
and so on).
3. Introduce the song at a circle time so the children can practice it. Use
puppets to demonstrate while the group sings the song. The children can
take turns making the puppets clean up, such as putting blocks into a tub.
4. Once the children are familiar with the song, you can choose a child to begin
the song at cleanup time.
