Construction paper, wallpaper scraps, tissue, and newspaper

Instructions

1. In conjunction with a holiday, season, or lesson plan, cut paper in shapes such as leaves, hearts,bells, letters, numbers, or farm animals.

2. Invite the children to tear construction paper, wallpaper scraps, tissue, and newspaper intostrips or scraps.

3. Have them glue the pieces onto the paper shapes, overlapping them. The pieces may be positionedin layers to create an added effect.
