Instructions
1. Place various kitchen items in the Dramatic Play Area. (Ask the children to
keep the kitchen items in this area.)
2. Encourage the children to take turns playing different roles, such as chef, dish
washer, and so on. No more than four children should be in the area at a
time.
3. While the children are playing with the kitchen items, introduce them to
different kitchen terms and language. For example:
