Materials

Red, pink, and black construction paper

red tissue paper

scissors

empty toilet tissue rolls

stapler

hot glue gun (adult only), assorted wrapped candies

red curling ribbon

glue

cotton balls

Instructions

1. Cut red construction paper into 3" x 6" strips, pink or peach construction
paper into 2" x 6" strips, and red tissue paper into 4" x 6" strips. Cut black
construction paper "M" shapes for feet.
2. Give each child an empty toilet tissue roll. Show them how to cover the
bottom with a red strip and the top with a pink strip. Help them staple in
place.
3. Hot glue (adult only) black paper feet to the bottom of the tube (adult only).
4. Let the children count out the desired candies and drop them inside the roll.
5. Glue the tissue paper strip around the top of the roll and tie it shut with a
curling ribbon.
6. Encourage the children to draw a face on the pink strip and glue a cotton ball
beard under it.
Tip: These Santas make great gifts for parents; they are also nice to bring to
