Brightly colored tissue paper

Scissors

White construction paper

Spray bottles

Water

Instructions

What to do
1. Ahead of time, cut the sheets of tissue into small pieces.
2. Provide each child with a piece of white construction paper and a tightly sealed spray bottle
containing a small amount of water.
3. Invite the children to create a design on their paper by arranging the bits of tissue paper.
4. Once their arrangement is complete, have the children spray the tissue paper with water.
5. Place the pictures on newspaper and allow them to dry overnight.
6. When the children return to class, tell them to remove the pieces of tissue paper and see the
colorful imprint left behind.
