White construction paper, 12" x 18" (30 cm x 45 cm)

Paintbrushes

Watered-down glue

Tissue paper cut into heart shapes

Instructions

What to do
1. Give each child a piece of white construction paper.
2. Have the children use the paintbrushes to paint the entire surface of their papers with watereddown
glue.
3. Provide the children with tissue paper hearts to lay all over the paper. Suggest that they overlap
and layer them.
4. When the entire surface is covered, have the children brush another coat of watered-down glue
all over their projects to seal the picture.
