Tie Dye Color Socks

Materials

Pair of white socks

Fabric dye, such as Rit, in a variety of colors

Shallow pans

Rubber bands

Instructions

1. Give each child a piece of felt.
2. Put out only one color of paint pens to focus on one color. If desired, write
the name of that color on the felt.
3. Encourage the children to decorate the felt using the paint pen.
4. Use glue to attach the felt to a dowel rod. Hang it in the classroom until it is
time to focus on another color.
