Materials
white paperwastebasketpaper and pencil, or dry-erase board with marker
Instructions
1. Group the children into pairs, and help each pair write their names on paper or the dry-erase board.
2. Invite the children to stand about 3' from an empty wastebasket and throw wadded sheets of white paper at the basket, one at a time.
3. Every time one child gets a piece of paper into the basket, the other child makes a note of it on the paper or dry-erase board.
4. At the end, help the children tally their totals to see how many "snowballs" went in the basket.
