Instructions

1. To get ready for snack time, sing the following song, or ask the children what
their favorite healthy food is. Sing the song to the tune of "London Bridge":
Good food helps us grow up strong,
Grow up strong, grow up strong.
Good food helps us grow up strong, I like ______.
2. Choose one child at a time to name a healthy food he likes. After he has
named a food, he may go wash his hands for snack. Continue until everyone
has named a food.
3. Serve some of the children's favorite fruits or vegetables for snack. Ask
parents to bring in their child's favorite healthy food to share.
