Do the following fingerplay with the children.
"Let's go to sleep," the little caterpillar said. (wiggle index finger)
And she tucked herself into bed (wrap other fingers around index finger)
Soon she will awaken, by and by (nod yes)
And turn into a lovely butterfly. (join hands at thumbs and flutter)
More to do Art: Crumble tissue paper into a clothespin to look like a butterfly. Add
pipe cleaner antennae.
