Materials

10 green, plastic soda bottlessandtapetable or bench

Instructions

1. Fill 10 green plastic bottles with a little bit of sand. Tape the lid on securely.

2. Place the 10 green bottles in a row along the edge of a table.

3. Choose a child to be the one to make the bottle "accidentally" fall each time. It will be a very popular job!4. Sing the song, "Ten Green Bottles," knocking off one bottle each time.

5. With very young children, count the remaining bottles between each verse.Ten Green BottlesTen green bottles standing on a wall,Ten green bottles standing on a wall,And if one green bottle should accidentally fall,CRASH!There'd be nine green bottles standing on a wall.Nine green bottles standing on a wall,Nine green bottles standing on a wall,And if one green bottle should accidentally fall,CRASH!There'd be eight green bottles standing on a wall.

6. Repeat the verse, reducing it by one bottle each time, until there are no bottles on the wall.
