Materials

Colored plastic tape

Instructions

1. Help each child write his or her name on a sheet of paper.
2. Tape the edges of the paper to a needlepoint
screen, folding the tape over the edges.
3. Encourage the child to punch designs
through the screen and
paper using a semi-sharpened
pencil.
4. When the child is
finished, remove
the screen from the
paper and fold the
tape over the edges of
the paper.
5. Reuse the needlepoint screen as
often as desired.
