1. Place assorted beads into a bowl or other container.
2. Encourage the child to sort the beads by color using the compartments in a
thread box.

use plastic tweezers to pick up and sort the beads.
Math: Ask the child to put one bead into the first compartment, two beads into
the second compartment, three beads into the third compartment, and so on.
