Instructions
1. A fun way to help children learn about opposites is to play this game.
2. Tell the children that when they play the "Opposite Game," they should do
the opposite of what you tell them. For example, if you say, "Run," they walk.
If you tell them to sit, they should stand. Then say, "No, no, I mean stand,"
and they should all sit. The children who are having trouble understanding
opposites will soon pick it up by watching the other children. By now, they
will think the game is so funny, it is for them hard to stop laughing!
3. To end the game, say, "Stand up and make a lot of noise." This is a sure way
to get the children to sit quietly.
