Instructions
1. Let each child choose a red, white, or blue square.
2. Children trace the star pattern with a crayon and cut it out.
3. Provide an assortment of shiny star stickers to decorate the larger paper star.
4. Encourage the children to count the number of star stickers they add to their large star and write the numeral on the back of the large star.
5. Demonstrate how to glue the large stars to a craft stick.
6. Play marching music and invite the children to march around in a parade, holding their stars high.
