Small trigger squirt bottles Easels Large newsprint or construction paper in light colorsInstructions
What to do
1. Pour tempera paint, mixed to a thin consistency, into the squirt bottles.
2. Set up easels in the classroom or outdoors.
3. Ask the children to choose one color and squirt it on their paper.
4. When they are finished with the first color, ask them to choose a second color, spray it over the
first, and then repeat the process with the third color. Allow their pictures to dry.

cards.
More art: Tape stencils or paper shapes to the paper. Squirt paint on the paper, then remove the
shape, leaving an impression there.
