What to Do
1. With the children, review the names of the shapes and colors on the Spin-a-
Shape card.
2. Explain to the children that they will take turns spinning the spinner and
naming the shape and/or color to which the arrow points.

and the other identifying the shapes.
4. Challenge the children to identify objects in the classroom that are similar
colors or have similar shapes to those on the Spin-a-Shape card.
