Instructions
1. This activity reinforces pre-reading
skills as the children see the
picture symbols associated with
songs.
2. Create cutouts for each song, poem, and fingerplay that you
use during Circle Time. Use markers to decorate them.
3. Write the title of the appropriate song, poem, or fingerplay on each cutout.
For example, write "Old MacDonald" on a cow.
4. Label the pages in a photo album with the titles.
5. Place the cutouts on the appropriate pages in the photo album.
6. Encourage the children to use this "Music Menu" to select favorite songs, fingerplays,
and poems.
