* April Fool's Day is celebrated on April 1st. April is also National Humor
Month.
Have a silly day on April Fool's Day (April 1st).
* Have children wear pajamas to school.
* Make "mistakes" throughout the day such as singing the good-bye
song at the beginning of the day.
* Mix up the helper chart, for example, put a girl's name on the boy's
leader spot, or have the name clips on the wrong side or upside down.
* Tell a familiar story in a mixed-up way (great for teaching or reviewing
opposites).
* Use a mixed assortment of leftover paper products from previous
holidays at snack and meals.
* Eat dessert first, or breakfast at lunchtime.
