Materials

overhead projector, slide projector, or lamp

assortment of materials from home or classroom

white paper

pencils

tape

white pencil or chalk

black paper

Instructions

1. Cut out a picture of an animal from a magazine that will fit onto a piece
of 9" x 12" construction paper.
2. Turn the paper horizontally and glue the picture on the paper.
3. Cut out two small circles from black construction paper and glue one to the
bottom left of the paper and one to the bottom right to make wheels.
4. Cut 1/2 " to 1" strips of paper from any color of construction paper using
decorative-edging scissors, and glue across the top and/or bottom edge of
the paper (this will look somewhat like curtains).
5. Let each child make a "box car" and attach them together to make a circus
train around the classroom.
