marker
card stock or poster board
scissors
glue
2 brad paper fasteners
Instructions
1. Cut out large magnifying glass shapes from heavy paper.
2. When the children have spare time inside because of inclement weather,
have them stretch out on their backs and look through the magnifying
glasses. Ask them to pretend to see treasures they would like to collect if
they were outside.
3. Ask the children to draw their treasures on the glasses if they wish to. Or they
can design their own treasures on the glasses.
More to do The next nice day, children can look for "treasures" outside. Encourage them to
see how many they can collect and compare it with their drawings or designs.
