Instructions
1. Label each section of an egg carton with a monetary value. You may want to
begin with the face value of coins, and progressively make the amount more
challenging.
2. Provide an assortment of coins and invite children to fill each section with
the corresponding amount of money. To make the activity self-correcting,
provide only the amount of money to fill the carton correctly. If all the coins
aren't used or not enough coins are available, the child knows he needs to
make a change.
3. Let children make their own cartons for friends to fill.
