Glue10-20 3" x 5" (7 cm x 12 cm) note cards
Various colored markers
Instructions
1. Glue several seeds from one seed packet onto a blank note card. Label the name of the seed directly underneath the seeds.2. Make a matching card by gluing the empty seed packet onto another blank note card. Label this card, too, making sure to use the same color marker as the matching seed card.3. Repeat this with five to ten different types of seeds. When finished, mix up all the cards. Encourage the children to identify the seeds by matching the cards. The color-coded label will help the children, if needed.
