Instructions

1. Cut a large piece of
foam board into
small, randomly
shaped pieces (4" to 6"
long). Explain to the
children that they will
be decorating several
pieces of the foam board
and gluing them together to
make their own puzzle sculpture.
2. Give each child one of the small pieces
of foam board.
3. Invite the children to decorate their pieces of foam using markers, craft
materials, or paint.
4. After the children finish one piece, let them decorate more pieces until
all the pieces are decorated.
5. When the pieces are dry, invite the children to arrange the pieces so
they are overlapping. Glue the pieces together.
6. Let the project dry overnight. Hang it in the room the next day.
