Materials

Styrofoam balls of various sizes

packing peanuts

colored or plain toothpicks

glue

colored paper

scissors

paper circles

Instructions

1. Put "peanuts" and "popcorn" into small paper bags. Make serving boxes by
attaching ribbon on each side of a flat box so that a child can wear it around
his neck while holding the box in front of him. Put the full bags into the flat
box.
2. Children can put on an apron with pockets (money belt) and carry the
popcorn serving boxes.
3. Encourage the children to develop chants to promote their product.
4. Introduce math concepts by having children collect money and helping
them make change and count how much money they made.
