Materials

Large trays with low sides, such as a cafeteria tray

Clean sterilized sand

Popsicle sticks or dull pencils, optional

Instructions

1. Cut out a Christmas tree shape from green felt.
2. Cut out small pictures of Christmas tree ornaments.
3. Glue the ornament pictures to tagboard using a glue stick. Cut out again.
4. Attach felt to the backs of the pictures using rubber cement.
5. Put the Christmas tree, ornaments, and flannel board in the Listening Center
along with a recording of your choice of Christmas songs.
6. The children will enjoy decorating the felt tree and singing along to the music
during free choice time.
