Materials

Paper

scissors

salad spinner

paint

squeeze bottle or large eyedroppers

Instructions

1. Cut the paper into circles that will fit inside the salad spinner.
2. Put a paper circle into the salad spinner. Add paint by squeezing from a bottle
or eyedropper (red, blue, and yellow work well). Dribble it around the paper.
3. Close the salad spinner and spin! The colors twirl and blend.
4. Let each child have a turn with his own paper circle. Discuss how the colors
blended and made new colors.
