Instructions

1. Find a quiet corner in your classroom to create an area for children to browse
through books and read.
2. If a child-sized bench is available, put it in your reading area.
3. Put your books near the bench. Provide theme-related literature, and include
big books, picture books, and class-made books.
4. Change the books weekly to correlate with your current classroom themes.
5. Add new class-made books as soon as they are constructed. Keep them out
throughout the year for the children to enjoy.
